Overview

Daily Puzzle ("we", "our", "the app") is a free daily puzzle game. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

If you sign in with Google:

• Your Google display name and profile photo, to show on leaderboards
• Your Google account ID (internal use only — never displayed publicly)
• Your puzzle solve times, to power the leaderboard

Without signing in:

• We store your streak and solve history in your browser's localStorage (local to your device only)
• No personal data is sent to our servers

Cookies and Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to show you relevant ads based on your interests. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.

Data Storage

Account data (display name, avatar, solve times) is stored securely in Supabase. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Deleting Your Data

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us via the GitHub repository linked on the about page.

Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
